The Renting Process

Before you are able to occupy the property, we will require a deposit, administration fee and usually the first months rent in advance. Any deposits will be reimbursed to you at the end of the tenancy, subject to the findings of the inventory checkout report.

Inventory

Before moving into the property, an inventory of all items will be undertaken to confirm the condition of the property, internal and external photographs are also taken for our records. You will receive a copy of the inventory at the start of your tenancy and asked to confirm the items listed by returning a signed copy to our office.

Collection of keys

Once we have received your deposit, administration fee and advanced rent payment*, we will give you the opportunity to read through your tenancy agreement. Once this has been signed we will hand over the keys and you can move into your new home.

* Tenants receiving housing benefit will not be required to pay an advanced rent payment, however we will ask you to bring in your housing benefit claim form along with a landlords declaration form which can be obtained from the Benefits department.
